Youth Leaders
United Against Substance Abuse
Youth Leaders to learn leadership skills to help communities within New Castle County advocate and educate about substance abuse. A Youth Leader will learn about prevention and use skills to facilitate drug and alcohol abuse prevention activities while building community capacity to encourage healthy lifestyles and behaviors. This opportunity is a chance for youth to collaborate with the Delaware Prevention Coalition (DPC), a voluntary network of individuals and organizations working together to create safe, healthy, drug-free communities.
Community Development
Build community capacity to address school and community needs. Use environmental scan strategies to identify any needed environmental changes
Support Services
Assist with information dissemination to the community and other agencies. Actively live a drug-free lifestyle.
Volunteer at prevention or community event(s).
